J.C. Penney to Close 33 Stores as Part of Restructuring Process
J.C. Penney has announced that it will close 33 stores as part of it’s restructuring process. The store closings will save an estimated $65 million annually beginning in 2014. The store closings are expected to be completed by May 2014. A total of 2,000 jobs (estimated) will be eliminated as part of the store closings.
